Season 1, Episode 4. In this episode we interview Nikka Palmer who grew up bouncing from home to home through foster care. She witnessed first hand, drug and alcohol abuse, as well as domestic violence. At one point she was even caught in a house fire. She survived, against all odds, and today is a wife, mother and public school teacher. She and her husband are working hard to break the cycle of foster care, abuse, and domestic violence by loving and leading their children and the children they care for through foster care. If you're an adoptive or foster parent this is an episode you must listen to!
